Mossbank may be Hennessy bound
Thursday, 1 November 2007 11:48 Michael Hourigan is considering the ё150,000 Hennessy Cognac Gold Cup as a potential target for impressive recent winner Mossbank. The seven-year-old proved too strong for his rivals in the Ladbrokes-sponsored Limerick National over three miles in October - but has taken a subsequent hike in the handicap. Hourigan said: ‘I may run Mossbank in the Hennessy at Newbury at the end of the month. The handicapper jumped him up a stone for just two and a half lengths, which I thought was a lot of weight to give a horse for the rest of the season.
